OUTRAGEOUS OBJECTS. CREATIVE DIRECTOR

CLIENT. LONDON ART STUDIES

BRIEF. Create a series that dives into controversial artworks, exploring why they left an indelible mark on the public and provoking discussion around their impact and meaning.

APPROACH. In collaboration with Plume Films, I had the privilege of working on this engaging series for London Art Studies, where art meets discourse and sparks thoughtful conversation.

Each episode was carefully structured to highlight the artwork, the artist’s intent, and the public reaction.

An old-fashioned black rotary phone with a lobster on top.

Salvador Dalí, Lobster Telephone, 1936.

An art installation in a gallery with a woman observing a bed with messy bedding, surrounded by various objects on the floor and a painting on the wall.

Tracey Emin, My Bed, 1998.

We balanced interviews, archival material, and observational footage to create episodes that feel immersive and intellectually engaging, yet approachable.

OUTCOME. The series successfully invited audiences to think, debate, and reflect on contemporary art in a fresh way.
