THE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE FIT OUT. DIRECTOR / WRITER / CO-EDITOR
CLIENT. WILD STAG STUDIO
BRIEF. Create a documentary series exploring the future of environmentally sustainable office fit-outs, documenting how a major organisation rethought reuse, inclusion and environmental impact across a seven-floor refurbishment in central London.
APPROACH. Filmed over the course of a year, the project followed the process from planning through to completion. The focus was on long term thinking and real world change, rather than surface level sustainability claims.
WATCH EPISODE 1
We documented each stage of the fit-out through interviews with architects, project managers, sustainability coordinators and clients, capturing multiple perspectives on how reuse-led design can change industry practice.
Particular attention was paid to inclusive design, exploring how accessibility, faith and wellnessspaces were embedded from the outset, informed by consultation with disability inclusion groups.
OUTCOME. The series communicated the scale and complexity of the project while making sustainability and inclusion understandable and relatable. The films demonstrated how large organisations can make meaningful environmental change when values are embedded early and followed through with care and commitment.
