ALBION IN THE COMMUNITY. DIRECTOR / WRITER

CLIENT. WILD STAG STUDIO

BRIEF. Tell the stories of three young people supported by Albion in the Community; a football charity that promotes wellbeing, confidence and inclusion through sport, and show the real impact of their programmes.

APPROACH. My focus was on authenticity, empathy, and safeguarding. Before filming, we met each participant without cameras to build trust, discuss boundaries, and ensure everyone understood and felt comfortable with the process.

Interviews were filmed in their homes to create a relaxed, familiar setting where they could express themselves naturally.

WATCH THE FILM

This helped us capture genuine emotion and confidence while respecting personal comfort and privacy.

We combined these conversations with observational footage that reflected each young person’s personality, energy and determination.

OUTCOME. The mini-doc brought the charity’s work to life in a way that felt authentic and uplifting. Audiences connected with the participants’ stories, and it helped the charity show the real difference it makes.
