THE ACADEMY. CREATIVE LEAD & CONTENT EDITOR

CLIENT. LAS

BRIEF. To help London Art Studies develop and launch The Academy, an online platform designed to make art education engaging and accessible for young people aged 7 to 18. The goal was to create a vibrant digital space that could inspire curiosity and make learning about art feel inclusive, relevant, and fun.

APPROACH. I co-led the creative direction of the project with Plume Films, working closely with the founder of London Art Studies to shape the overall vision and bring it to life.

We defined the platform’s visual and editorial identity; from colour palettes, typography and film treatments to the tone and rhythm of its storytelling.

My role spanned concept development, editing and copywriting. I edited over sixty educational films, crafting a clear narrative rhythm and visual flow for each one.

I also led the website design and contributed to the launch campaign, developing promotional content, social strategies and audience engagement ideas.

Accessibility, clarity and connection were central throughout.

Each story was designed to feel approachable, visually distinctive and rooted in curiosity, helping young audiences engage with art in meaningful ways.

OUTCOME. The Academy now hosts a growing library of more than one hundred films and continues to expand as a trusted educational platform. The project demonstrates how thoughtful storytelling and collaborative creativity can make cultural education both inspiring and inclusive.
